Sherner Power Consulting Stephen Sherner, principal of Sherner Power Consulting, has more than thirty years of experience in power generation, transmission, system planning, operations and business development. Before starting his independent management/technical consulting business in 2002, Steve held many senior management positions at Minnesota Power, most recently as the President of the business unit responsible for non-regulated generation development and marketing. In addition to many years of experience with the regional power pools and reliability organizations, Stephen was integrally involved in the merger of MAPP and MISO transmission functions and the establishment of the new Midwest Reliability Organization. Stephen has a degree in Electrical Engineering Technology from the Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, NY and is a registered professional engineer. |
